Overview FSSAI has directed the implementation of a ‘Food Recall’ module in the FoSCoS system to streamline recall procedures in line with the Food Safety and Standards (Food Recall Procedure) Regulations, 2017. The system aims to improve tracking, ensure clear consumer communication, and facilitate proper handling of recalled food products, including retrieval, destruction, or reprocessing.
