Telangana’s food safety authorities recently inspected three Grill Affair restaurant branches following complaints about hygiene. During the inspections, they found multiple violations, including reused oil, uncovered and mixed food, cobwebs, pest infestations, and open kitchens without mesh protection. Inspectors also noted missing pest control measures and health records.

The officials have initiated action against Grill Affair, although they have not disclosed the exact steps taken. Photos released by the task force highlight serious hygiene lapses, raising concerns about food safety standards at these outlets.

Broader Inspections Across Telangana

The task force actively inspects government schools, hostels, supermarkets, hotels, sweet shops, and fast-food outlets throughout the state. Whenever they detect violations, they collect samples, issue notices, and enforce corrective measures, sharing updates on the official X handle of Telangana’s Food Safety Commissioner. These actions demonstrate the state’s commitment to ensuring safe and hygienic food for all residents, emphasising strict compliance across the food service sector.
