Locals stated that the fish had a strong, unpleasant odour even before cooking, and many chose to discard it rather than use it.

Complaints to Health Authorities Ignored

Despite filing complaints with the health department, residents claim that no action has been taken so far. When villagers approached the fish sellers about the spoiled fish issue, they reportedly received a negative response. The community has urged the health authorities to take strict action. They demand that fish unfit for consumption be seized and removed from the market immediately to prevent further health risks.
