Hotels Fined for Violating Food Safety Regulations
Health officials confiscated meat and vegetarian dishes from Bay Leaf in Ramavarmapuram, Navya Restaurant in East Fort, National Store in Kokkalai, Arabian Treat in Punkunnam, and Kings Hotel in West Fort. The establishments were penalized for violating food safety regulations.
Health Officials Inspect 34 Hotels, Issue Notices for Non-Compliance
As part of the operation, health officials inspected 34 hotels, organizing their team into four squads. They notified 21 establishments for failing to comply with regulations. To raise awareness, the health department posted details of expired food items and hotels that were violating the rules outside the corporation office.
