Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Ram Nath Thakur, launched a range of innovative food products developed by startups incubated at the ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT).

Collagen Honey Peanut Butter: A Health-Focused Functional Spread

The Minister unveiled Collagen Honey Peanut Butter, created by Parayil Biofarm Pvt. Ltd under CIFT’s technical guidance. The spread combines premium peanuts with high-quality collagen, offering a protein-rich option that supports joint health, gut wellness, and muscle recovery. Free from added sugar, preservatives, and artificial additives, it targets fitness-focused and health-conscious consumers.

Fudcy Foods Introduces Shelf-Stable Ready-to-Eat Products

Thakur also launched ready-to-eat products from Fudcy Foods, another CIFT-incubated firm. Using advanced retort processing technology in collaboration with CIFT, the company produces shelf-stable, preservative-free foods that retain nutritional value, safety, and authentic taste at room temperature.

CIFT Supports Entrepreneurs and Market-Ready Innovations

The launch reflects CIFT’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and bringing high-quality, safe food solutions to the market. Through its Zonal Technology Management & Agri-Business Incubation (ZTM-ABI) Centre, CIFT helps entrepreneurs transform innovative ideas into market-ready products and build sustainable fisheries-based enterprises.
