As part of the Anpod Thrithala project, health officials inspected food outlets and shops near the Government School in Vattenad, Kootanad, in the district of Palakkad, where a Mega Multi-Speciality Medical Camp is set to take place. Under the guidance of Dr. Moitheen, Block Superintendent of the Chalissery Health Department, Health Supervisor C. Kammunni led the inspection with active participation from all local health inspectors.
Officials Shut Down Unhygienic Food Stall
The team identified multiple hygiene violations in several food stores and issued notices with deadlines to correct the issues. They shut down one food stall near the school in Vattenad that was operating in unsanitary conditions. Health officials also launched an awareness campaign to inform vendors and the public about the upcoming medical camp and the importance of maintaining hygiene. They confirmed that follow-up inspections will continue in the coming days.
