In the footage, a customer unwraps a foil-covered stack of rotis and reveals the reptile lodged between the layers. He alleges that his family fell ill after eating the contaminated roti.

Food Safety Action

The Kanpur Food Safety Department inspected the dhaba and found it to be in unhygienic conditions. Officials collected samples of tandoori paneer and vegetables for testing and sealed the premises. Police have not received a formal complaint, and no FIR has been registered. The dhaba owner has not commented on the matter.
