Hyderabad Task Force Seizes 200 kg Chocolates in Food Safety Raid

The Hyderabad Food Adulteration and Safety Task Force (H-FAST), along with Food Safety officials and Habeebnagar Police, raided an alleged illegal chocolate manufacturing unit in Old Mallepally and seized more than 200 kg of chocolates during a food safety enforcement operation. During the inspection, officials reportedly found expired flavouring agents and essences being used in chocolate production. The team also seized manufacturing equipment and stocks of chocolates suspected of violating food safety regulations.

Authorities registered a case against the unit owner for alleged food safety violations. The action forms part of ongoing efforts by food safety agencies to crack down on the manufacture and sale of unsafe food products and protect consumer health.
