A food poisoning incident in Madwasa village, Madhya Pradesh, left six family members hospitalized after consuming Homemade pakoras. The incident occurred on Monday when the entire family ate the fritters and fell gravely ill shortly after. The affected individuals include Brij Bhan Singh, his wife Kiran Bai, their son Rajpal Singh, daughter-in-law Seema Bai, granddaughter Khushi, and grandson Shahil. All six experienced severe symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea immediately after eating the snacks.
Emergency Response
Neighbours responded swiftly by transporting the family to the local health centre in Isagarh using a tractor-trolley. Before reaching the hospital, both Brij Bhan Singh and Kiran Bai lost consciousness due to the severity of their condition. Medical staff at the health centre provided first aid and referred the entire family to the district hospital in Ashok Nagar for further treatment.
Current Condition
Doctors report that all six family members remain hospitalized, with Brij Bhan Singh in critical condition. Despite the pakoras being prepared at home, the exact cause of the food poisoning remains unknown, prompting further investigation. This incident highlights the importance of food safety, even in home-cooked meals, as potential contamination can lead to serious health risks.
