Report
A 5-year-old boy fell ill after consuming a samosa containing a dead lizard in Rewa district, Madhya Pradesh. The incident occurred on Thursday evening when Shreyans Sharma, the young boy, bought the samosa from a local shop run by Suresh Kushwaha. After eating half of the samosa, Shreyans noticed an unusual taste and, upon inspecting it further, found the head and eyes of a lizard inside. Shortly after, he began vomiting and complained of severe abdominal pain, according to media reports.
The family quickly rushed Shreyans to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where doctors began treatment. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) confirmed that the child’s vomiting played a crucial role in removing the toxic substance from his stomach.
Further Measures
The family is currently preparing to submit an official complaint against Suresh Hotel, situated in the Dhekha area, and has also notified the police and food department regarding the incident.
