Report
The Telangana Food Safety Commissioner’s Task Force inspected Subbayya Gari Hotel in Kondapur and identified several violations. Officials found that the hotel lacked an FSSAI license and maintained unhygienic kitchen conditions, including broken flooring and clogged drains. They also observed that food waste was not removed regularly, staff handled food without headcaps or gloves, and used oil was not tested for Total Polar Compounds (TPC).
Violations at Yashoda Dairy Products
During their inspection of Yashoda Dairy Products in Jeedimetla, the Task Force found multiple issues. They discovered improperly fitted doors, which allowed pests to enter, and wet, patchy flooring with stagnant water. Employees handled food without gloves, stored food items directly on the ground instead of on pallets, and failed to maintain records for pest control, employee health checks, or temperature monitoring.
Ongoing Food Safety Monitoring
These findings stress the need for stricter adherence to hygiene standards and regulations at food establishments. The Food Safety Task Force actively monitors these businesses and enforces compliance to protect public health and safety.
