A viral post on X has raised concerns after a user alleged that a piece of glass was found inside a dark chocolate sold under Noice, a private-label food brand launched by Swiggy on its Swiggy Instamart platform. User @DealsDhamaka shared the post and said that one of his followers, @Pras_SwiftMojo, had ordered the dark chocolate through Instamart. He claimed the customer discovered the glass piece while breaking the chocolate to share with his child.
According to the post, the child immediately returned the piece after saying something had pricked him. When the customer checked the chocolate, he allegedly found a small piece of glass embedded inside it. Calling the incident “extremely concerning and unacceptable,” the user said brands should never compromise on food safety.
Post Sparks Online Reactions
The post quickly gained attention on social media, with several users raising questions about product safety and quality checks. The customer involved in the incident also responded to the post, stating that he shared the issue only to highlight the problem and ensure that brands remain accountable for the quality they claim on their labels. Responding to the viral post, Noice said it takes consumer safety complaints seriously and has initiated an investigation. In a reply on X, the brand said it had contacted the customer to gather details and had started a priority review with its manufacturing partner and across the supply chain.
About the Brand
Swiggy introduced Noice around August 2025 as a private-label packaged food brand on its Swiggy Instamart platform. The brand offers more than 200 products, including snacks, breads, biscuits, sweets, juices, paneer and traditional Indian food items. The authenticity of the claim has not been independently verified, and the investigation by the brand is ongoing.
