Inspections in California Burrito
On November 1, Telangana’s Commissioner of Food Safety Task Force inspected several restaurants in Attapur and found significant hygiene violations. At California Burrito, inspectors discovered live cockroach infestations in the kitchen and storage areas. The restaurant lacked medical fitness certificates for food handlers and a water analysis report for its RO water. Inspectors also found rotten cauliflower in storage, though other fridge items were properly wrapped and tagged. Additionally, the refrigerator lacked temperature records, and storage racks were too close to the walls for proper cleaning.
Multiple Hygiene Violations Revealed
At The Majlis Culture Cuisine, inspectors found expired fruit syrup, kewra water, and fruit crush in both the storeroom and kitchen, which they disposed of. The building entrances lacked insect barriers, and the doors didn’t close properly to prevent pest entry. This restaurant also failed to provide medical fitness certificates for its food handlers.
